OLD WESTBURY, N.Y. – The Roberts Wesleyan men's basketball team dropped a game on the road to NYIT on Saturday, 88-102.

Junior
Manny Joseph led the scoring effort for the Redhawks with 22 points and pulled down eight rebounds.
Tristan Brown posted a double-double with 12 points and 10 rebounds while also dishing out five assists.

The Redhawks were able to hold the lead once in the game when
Quinn Carey's three pointer with 13:16 remaining in the first half gave the team an 18-17 lead. But in the end NYIT looked to their 6-foot-8 forward Jon Feiler who finished the game with 28 points, 17 rebounds and six assists. The Bears were able to produce efficient offense shooting over 55-percent that gave Roberts difficulties on defense.

Roberts shot 34-of-80 (42.5%) from the field and was just 8-of-26 (30.8%) from three point range.

The Redhawks will face off against the University of Bridgeport on Monday with tip-off scheduled for 7 p.m.
