Rochester, N.Y. – The Roberts Wesleyan men's basketball team lost its final game of the season to East Coast Conference rival Daemen on Saturday afternoon, 71-80.

Tristan Brown posted a double-double with 14 points and 12 rebounds to go along with three assists. Freshman
Isaiah Lewis led the scoring effort for the Redhawks with 16 points.

Down by as much as 14 points midway through the second half the Redhawks clawed back to cut the lead to two points with 2:58 left in the game. But the Wildcats were able to hang on to the lead down the stretch and build a comfortable nine point lead with 16 seconds left to play.

Daemen was led by forward Deion Hamilton who finished with 26 points and five rebounds.

Roberts shot well overall from the field going 31-of-59 (52.5%) but struggled from deep range hitting on just 1-of-9 (11.1%).

The Redhawks finish the season with a 3-24 overall record and a 2-16 record in the conference. Â
