WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Roberts Wesleyan women's lacrosse team picked up its second East Coast Conference victory of the season with a commanding win over the University of the District of Columbia, 22-4.
Senior
Cassley Jackowski continued her dominance on offense scoring 10 points off seven goals and three assists. Freshman
Jessica Giancursio added four goals and had seven ground balls.
The Redhawks' defense held the Firebirds to just one goal in the final 45 minutes of the game allowing the offense to pour in 15 consecutive goals without a Firebird score.
Four other Redhawks added multiple goals in the game, including,
Mackenzie Kidder,
Megan Burnham,
Johannah Price, and
Emily Knight.
Roberts will face Saint Thomas Aquinas on Saturday.
