WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Roberts Wesleyan men's lacrosse team fell to the University of the District of Columbia on Saturday, 10-8.

Cody Menzies posted four goals and one assist in the game to lead the Redhawks.

Late in the third quarter a goal by Menzies gave Roberts a 7-6 lead, but the Firebirds used three unanswered goals in the fourth quarter to take a 9-7 advantage with 6:20 remaining. A goal by
Collin Waden cut the UDC lead to 9-8, but the Firebirds added a final goal with 1:17 left in the game to make it 10-8.

Keith Keehn made 12 saves in net for the Redhawks.

Roberts is now 4-8 on the season with a 1-5 record in the conference. They will host Molloy College on Saturday at noon.
