QUEENS, N.Y. – The Roberts Wesleyan men's soccer team lost on the road to conference opponent Queens (N.Y.) College on Saturday afternoon, 2-0.
The Queens College Knights got on the board early in the second half after an attacker found the perfect opportunity to get a chip shot over the Roberts goalkeeper's head. Queens would seal up their victory late in the second half after the Roberts goalkeeper misplayed a ball that would eventually be tapped in by another Knight to make the final score 2-0.
Roberts would go on to have eight total shots during the game, four of these on goal. Also, both Redhawk goalkeepers split time in net. Senior
Ben Hastings played the bulk of the contest, adding three more saves on the season.
The Roberts Wesleyan men's soccer team returns home for an upcoming ECC matchup with the University of The District of Columbia on Saturday, October 13. Kickoff for this game is slated to begin at 3:30 PM.
