SOUTH EUCLID, OH. – The Roberts Wesleyan men's basketball team picked up their second win of the season on Tuesday following an 83-67 defeat of opponent Notre Dame College (OH.).
The Redhawks ended up shooting 25-for-64 (39%) from the field, going 14-of-36 (39%) from three-point territory, and totaled an impressive 19-for-23 (83%) free-throw percentage. Four players scored in the double digits for the Redhawks. Sophomore guard
Reggie Clark led with a career-high 25 points, two assists and one steal. Junior guard
Isaiah Lewis finished with 15 points, five assists and one steal.
The Falcons managed to keep the Redhawks at bay for most of the first half but Roberts was able to walk away with a six-point lead going into halftime.
The second half proved to be all Roberts as the Redhawks' largest lead of 22 with 5:00 left to play can be attributed to the seven made three-pointers and the ability to capitalize on drawn fouls, going 15-of-18 at the line.
On Saturday, November 17 the Roberts Wesleyan men's basketball team (2-1, 0-0 ECC) will travel to Erie, Pa. to face Mercyhurst University. Tip-off is scheduled for 7 p.m.
