SYRACUSE, N.Y. – The Roberts Wesleyan men's lacrosse team fell to nationally ranked Le Moyne on Thursday, 18-5.
It was not the start the Redhawks wanted against the No. 2 team in the country as the Dolphins scored the first 11 goals of the game. Roberts finally got on the board with 1:20 remaining in the second quarter when
Kyle Dunham scored an unassisted goal.
The Redhawks had most of their offensive production in the fourth quarter scoring four goals. Freshman
Hunter Lemieux scored two goals in the final seven minutes of play. Other goal scorers included
John Wellington and
Alex Bianchi.
Lemieux and
Adam Doviak led the Redhawks with three groundballs each.
Roberts (3-2) will travel to North Canton, Ohio this weekend for a Saturday matchup against Walsh University.
