ROCHESTER, N.Y. – The Roberts Wesleyan women's lacrosse team picked up its first East Coast Conference win of the season on Sunday with an 18-2 win over the University of the District of Columbia.
There were 12 players who scored at least one goal for the Redhawks. Leading the way was the freshman duo of
Alyssa Maxwell and
Emily Tomei who both had three goals and one assist apiece.
Emily Knight led the team in assists with four.
Roberts scored the first seven goals of the game before surrendering one to the Firebirds. Kianna Franklin scored both goals for the visitors.
Next up for the Redhawks is a non-conference game against Bloomsburg University on Wednesday at 4 p.m.
