EDINBORO, Pa. - It was an uphill battle for the Roberts Wesleyan men's tennis team all day as the Redhawks fell to Edinboro University of Pennsylvania 9-0 on Tuesday.
The Redhawks fell behind 3-0 following the doubles matches and were not able to recover in singles competition dropping all six matches.
Andrew Freeman provided the closest singles match of the day at the No. 4 spot. The junior lost the first set by a close 7-6 margin before dropping the second set 6-2.
Roberts Wesleyan (4-5) will travel back to Erie, Pa. on Match 18 to take on Mercyhurst University at noon.
