Guido Janssen was the only point scorer for the Roberts Wesleyan men's tennis team on Friday as the Redhawks lost to Southern New Hampshire University, 8-1.
Janssen picked up the win after a long battle at No. 2 singles that saw the freshman endure a 7-5, 3-6, 10-6 victory.Â
Southern New Hampshire already held the advantage in the match after going up 3-0 following doubles play and put the Redhawks out of reach with wins at No. 3 and No. 4 singles.Â
Roberts Wesleyan (4-10, 0-2 ECC) will take on Franklin Pierce University on Saturday at 10 a.m.
