Nthabi Mogopodi scored a straight set win at first singles over Brockport's Autumn Venturino. Senior
Marousia Bosch sealed the win with a 6-0, 6-1 win over Zoe Sharp at third singles. Freshmen
Leonie Spreng and
Megan Burke won at third doubles.
"Our two freshmen played very well at 3
rd doubles, winning 8-2," said head coach
Tom Linhart. "It was Megan's first college victory. I am very pleased with how we played today."
The Redhawks open East Coast Conference play on Tuesday when the team travels to Buffalo to take on rival Daemen College. The match starts at 11 a.m. and will be played at Williamsville South High School.
