ROCHESTER, N.Y. – In their first of a two-match weekend home stand, the Redhawks dropped a four set decision to LIU Post (25-20, 25-21, 21-25, 25-22) on Friday night. 
 
Roberts falls to a 1-10 overall and 0-2 conference record while the Pioneers move to 10-5 overall with a 2-0 conference record.
 
Junior Rachel Holmes led the Redhawks with eight kills, four aces, and one block. Freshman Lauren Taeko Chase had 26 assists. The setter also added eight digs, one ace and one block. Sophomore defensive specialist Tori Westfall and senior libero Shelby Strausbaugh led the Redhawks in digs, both with a total of nine. 
 
The Pioneers were led by senior outside-hitter Rachel Londot who posted 18 kills, 10 digs, and two assists.
 
The Roberts Wesleyan women's volleyball team will face another conference opponent as NYIT comes to town. The two teams will face each other on Saturday, September 22. The match is scheduled to begin at 12 PM.
