Andrea Gallardo managed the only point for the Roberts Wesleyan women's tennis team in a 4-1 defeat against University of the Sciences in a non-conference matchup.

The senior from Madrid, Spain defeated Abby Gamarnik 6-0, 6-2 at second singles. Her win evened the match after USciences had taken the doubles point with wins at first and second doubles. The only doubles win for the Redhawks came at the No. 3 spot where
Marousia Bosch and
Laura Freeman won 6-1.

After wins at first and third singles for the Marauders, the deciding point came at 4th singles. Stephanie Mazurek defeated
Bijisha Shrestha in a three set thriller, 6-3, 4-6, 6-1.Â
Leonie Spreng won her exhibition match for Roberts, 6-3 over Gabbie Soriano.

The 4-2 Redhawks return to action on Tuesday in conference action against STAC at home at 4 p.m.
