Andrea Gallardo was the lone double winner for the Roberts women's tennis team as the Redhawks defeated Millersville University of Pennsylvania 5-2 in non- conference action.

Nthabi Mogopodi started the Redhawks off by winning first doubles over Karla Jones and Jasmine Morris by a 6-4 score. However, the Redhawks could not close out another doubles match, and the Marauders took the doubles point winning at both second and third doubles.

Trailing 1-0 after doubles, the Redhawks stormed back winning five of the six singles points. Senior
Marousia Bosch evened the match with a 6-1, 6-2 win over Megan Rovenolt at third singles. Sophomore
Laura Freeman and junior
Salome Darsalia gave the Redhawks the lead for good with straight set wins at 5th and 6th singles. Gallardo then clinched the match with a 6-0, 7-5 win over Jasmine Morris at second singles. Millersville closed the gap when Kayla Jones defeated
Nthabi Mogopodi 7-5, 6-3. The scoring ended when freshman
Bijisha Shrestha came from behind to beat Kelsey Heckart 4-6, 6-4,10-1 at fourth singles.

Leonie Spreng defeated Madison Holmes 8-1.

The 4-1 Redhawks complete a four day road trip tomorrow when they play Usciences in Philadelphia.
