ROCHESTER, N.Y. - The Roberts women's tennis team ran its record to 6-2 with a 9-0 win over Houghton College in a match played on the RWC courts.
After sweeping the doubles matches to take a 3-0 lead,
Nthabi Mogopodi won at first singles and
Laura Freeman clinched the match with a 6-0, 6-0 win over Catie Moore at 4
th singles. Freshmen
Leonie Spreng was a double winner for the Redhawks. She teamed with fellow freshman
Megan Burke for an 8-0 win at 4
th doubles and then defeated Tessa Brown 6-0, 6-0 at 6
th singles.
The Redhawks resume play on Sunday when they host Salem International University from West Virginia in a match starting at 12 p.m.
