ROCHESTER, N.Y. – The Roberts Wesleyan women's volleyball team could not pull the upset over the number one team in the East Coast Conference falling to Molloy, 3-0.
 
The Redhawks fall to 1-19 on the season and 1-5 in the ECC while the Lions advance to 18-5 overall and 6-1 in the conference.
 
Molloy spread their offense out and was on point throughout the three sets giving the Redhawks a difficult time to keep the score close. The Lions got kills from eight different players. For Roberts it was Kathryn Krchniak leading in the kills category with seven.
 
On a tough hitting day, the Redhawks handed over 21 points to the visitors off 21 hitting errors.
 
Senior Rachel Holmes climbs toward 1,000 career digs with 13 digs against Molloy.
 
Roberts will hit the road next weekend to take on Mercy and Queens.
