AMHERST, N.Y. - The Roberts Wesleyan women's soccer team concluded a muddy double overtime game in a 0-0 draw against Daemen College Saturday morning.
It was an even matchup for the Redhawks and Wildcats as teams pressured one another and traded shot for shot in both the first and second half leaving both team scoreless at the end of regulation. Goalkeeper
Kelsey Brinkel added three more saves to her record keeping the teams at a draw.
The first and second overtime brought five opportunities by Daemen to up the Redhawks but they were unable to capitalize. Roberts kept the pressure on defensively in the second overtime only allowing for one shot but ultimately ending the game at a stalemate.
The Redhawks are now 2-2-2 in the ECC and will continue conference play at Mercy College on Saturday November 2nd at 12 p.m.
