DOBBS FERRY, N.Y. - A triumphant 25-3 fourth quarter gave the women's basketball team the boost to top East Coast Conference rival Mercy College 59-47 on the road Saturday afternoon.
Roberts was able to stay in the game with a strong first ten minutes out scoring the Mavericks 20-14 and giving them the cushion they needed during the second and third quarters where they only scored a combined 14 points in comparison to Mercy's 30.
