DOBBS FERRY, N.Y. – Four different Redhawks scored in a 16-9 loss to East Coast Conference opponent Mercy College on Saturday afternoon. The Redhawks loss would take their overall record to 8-2 and 2-1 in conference play.
The six goals from the Redhawks were scored by Ellen O'Neil (1st Pd. – 13:41), Lindsey Brinkel (1st Pd. – 11:41) assisted by Emily Tomei, Emily Tomei (2ndPd. – 25:33), and a hattrick by Taylor Nathan. Nathan's goals all came in the second half (12:58, 6:17, 3:17).
Both Redhawks goalkeepers had time in the game. Victoria Greco played 18 minutes and recorded four saves. Natalie Arieno played the bulk of the contest with 41 minutes and four saves recorded.
Next up for the Roberts Wesleyan women's lacrosse team is a home matchup against Mercyhurst University on Tuesday, March 26. Events are scheduled to begin at 2 PM.
