WASHINGTON, D.C. - The Roberts Wesleyan women's lacrosse team cruised to a 25-0 shutout win over the University of the District of Columbia on Monday to open up East Coast Conference play.
Lindsey Brinkel was the leading scorer for Roberts with five goals. The sophomore also added three assists. Senior
Emily Knight had a game-high seven assists on the day.
The Redhawks dominated in every area of the game outshooting UDC 41-3 and forcing the Firebirds into 22 turnovers.
Victoria Greco got the win in goal making three saves.
Roberts (6-1, 1-0 ECC) will host Mercyhurst on Wednesday at 4 p.m.
