ROCHESTER, N.Y. - The women's soccer team continued their win streak Wednesday night as they took down Mansfield 3-0. The Redhawks three goals were attributed to the senior squad of
Taylor Rutland,
Israela Groves, and
Maya Rutland.

In the first half, the Redhawks controlled possession in their attacking half of the field managing a total of 15 shots on the Mounties. An early goal by
Taylor Rutland in the 7th minute moved the Redhawks to 1-0. The Redhawks continued to put on the pressure and remained in control for the remainder of the half but were not able to capitalize on any more opportunities.

The momentum continued in their favor as Groves led the charge for the Roberts. Groves had a total of nine shots and five shots on goal one of which led to the Redhawks second goal at the start of the second half with an assist by freshman
Julia Doriski.Â

Tempo remained in the hands of the Redhawks as they kept the Mounties away from a single shot during the second half. The third goal for Roberts came from
Maya Rutland in the 80th minute.Â

Roberts is back in action this weekend at home as they host Saint Michael's Saturday September 21st, at 12 p.m.
