HOUGHTON, N.Y. – The Roberts Wesleyan women's tennis team took down Houghton on Tuesday, 8-1 to improve to 2-2 on the season.
The Redhawks started things off by sweeping the doubles matches.
Laura Freeman and
Carolyn Graham had the largest margin of victory with an 8-0 win over Erin Haley and Alicia Cline at second doubles.
In singles play Freeman won at first singles, 6-0, 6-3 and
Bijisha Shrestha defeated Catie Moore at No. 2 singles, 6-1, 6-0. The other singles winner were
Salome Darsalia,
Charity Hinman, and Graham.
Roberts will get back into East Coast Conference play on Friday when the team travels to St. Thomas Aquinas.
