ROCHESTER, N.Y. - The Robert's women's basketball team fell to Molloy College 63-53 on Sunday night moving the Redhawks to 4-4 in the East Coast Conference.

Roberts started hot in shooting with Taryn Wilson as the first to get on the board with a three pointer initiating a 11-3 run. The Redhawks continued to hold onto the lead until two minutes remained in the second half when Molloy tied up the game with a layup, 25-25. From there the Lions held the Redhawks to 25 points as they increased their lead by eight to end the first half 33-25.

In the second half, Roberts shot from the field at 39.3% in comparison to the Lions 36% but were edged out by Molloy in total points by only two 30-28. From there Molloy was able to take their largest lead of 16 points with five minutes remaining in regulation while Roberts chipped away closing the gap to a 10 point difference but running out of time, ending the game 63-53 in favor of Molloy. 

Emily Miller lead the way in scoring for the Redhawks with a total of 13 points. The senior also added seven rebounds making her one rebound shy of the 1000 rebound mark. 

Taryn Wilson was the other Redhawk to score in double digits with 11 points, four rebounds, two assists, and two steals. 

Next, Roberts continues at home as they take on Daemen College on Saturday, February 1st. Tip-off is at 2:00 p.m.
