AMHERST, N.Y. – The women's volleyball comeback attempt fell short on Thursday evening in Lumsden Gymnasium as Roberts Wesleyan dropped a four set match to Daemen, 25-15; 25-22; 19-25; 25-12.
 
Down 2-0, the Redhawks rallied in the third set, using a 7-1 run to take a 20-13 lead. Roberts went on to win the set 25-19.
 
Freshman 
Sydney Yanak led the team with nine kills. 
Emily Rowlison provided six kills.
 
Sophomore 
Madison Truong had 25 assists and libero 
Teagan Weber totaled 17 digs.
 
The Redhawks will regroup quickly and be back on the court in the Voller Athletic Center on Friday at 6 p.m. for a match against The College of Saint Rose.
