Men's Basketball Tops D'Youville, 2/3Â
BUFFALO, N.Y. - The Redhawks traveled to D'Youville College Wednesday night for their first East Coast Conference game of the season. With all five starters scoring double-digits and an overall hot shooting night, Roberts Wesleyan took down the Saint Bernards 86-71.Â
Isaiah Lewis started the game off with a jumper that propelled the Redhawks to a 11-0 start. D'Youville kept the game close, bringing it to 2 points towards the end of the first half, but the Redhawks were able to maintain their lead and tally their third win of the season.
Senior Armon Nasseri finished the game with 18 points and 8 rebounds to lead the Redhawks. Senior guard Shane Fanning followed up with 17 points, while guard-trio Amari Lee, Reggie Clark, and Lewis tallied 16, 13, and 12 points, respectively.
The Redhawks return to their home court Monday and Thursday night to face off against Daemen College. They continue their ECC play into the weekend when they play St. Thomas Aquinas College on Saturday and Sunday at 1 pm in Rochester.

Women's Basketball Falls to Daemen, 2/5Â
AMHERST, N.Y. - Roberts traveled to Buffalo for their first away game and ECC game of the season on Friday to face nationally-ranked Daemen College. After over a week and a half with no games because of COVID protocol with opposing teams, the Redhawks were ready to get back on the court, but it was the Wildcats who had the upper hand defeating Roberts, 70-48.
A tough shooting and rebounding night for the Redhawks led to the Wildcats taking an early lead and remaining ahead for the rest of the game. Daemen outrebounded the Redhawks 45-33 while Roberts Wesleyan shot 29.3% (17-for-58) from the field, 22.2% (4-for-18) from three, and 58.8% (10-17) from the free throw line.Â
Junior Dimitra Gkizani led the Redhawks with 10 points and 5 rebounds and freshman guard Georgia Haverlock finished with 7 points and 2 assists.Â

Redhawks Drop Second Straight Game to Daemen, 2/7
AMHERST, N.Y. - Following Friday night's loss to Daemen, the Redhawks were back in Lumsden Gymnasium for its second straight matchup with the Wildcats on Sunday afternoon. The result played out the same as Roberts' 48 points for the second consecutive game was not enough to take down Daemen, losing 83-48.Â
The Redhawks struggled to find the bottom of the net shooting just 17-of-61 (27.9%). Daemen took advantage of Roberts' scoring woes and jumped out to a quick 13-0 lead to start the game. The Wildcats finished the game shooting nearly 47-percent from the field.Â
Daemen continued to put on the pressure building a 21 point lead in the second quarter and extended to over 30 points in the third quarter.Â
Paige McCormick led all scoring for Roberts with 13 points while freshman Georgia Haverlock added in 10 points.Â
Roberts falls to 2-4 on the season and 0-2 in the East Coast Conference. The team will travel to Sparkill, N.Y. over the weekend for back-to-back games against STAC.Â
