MANSFIELD, Pa. – Host Mansfield University scored four points in the final four seconds to rally for a 75-71 victory over Roberts Wesleyan University in a non-conference men's basketball game on Tuesday night.
The visiting Redhawks (0-3) led by 15 points early in the second half before the Mounties mounted a comeback.
Guard Rian Carter scored 12 points to lead Roberts and Demani Smith added 10. Ja'Kair Sanchez contributed nine points and seven rebounds and Abou Gbane also added nine points.
Malik Brooks led Roberts with four assists and five steals.
The Redhawks play at Seton Hill University at 6:30 on Friday night before playing their home opener against Edinboro University at 7 p.m. Monday at the Voller Athletic Center.
