Redhawks Open ECC Play With Win At D'Youville

BUFFALO, N.Y. – Nine different players scored goals as the Roberts Wesleyan College men's lacrosse team rolled to a 22-0 victory over host D'Youville College in an East Coast Conference game on Saturday.
Senior Connor Jones led the Redhawks (5-1, 1-0 ECC) with four goals while Hunter Lemieux and Reid Jackowski each added three goals and three assists.
Dan Doviak added three goals and Nate Maloney and Jacob Zimmerman both notched two goals and one assist.
Jordon Deats and Jonathon Deats contributed a goal and two assists apiece and Lucas Marshall also scored for Roberts.
Mitch Streety went 16 of 18 on face-offs and led Roberts with 12 ground balls.
Aidan Sheehan made one save for the Redhawks, who held a 45-6 advantage in shots.
Roberts returns to action at 6 p.m. on Wednesday for a non-conference game at home against The College of Saint Rose.
