ROCHESTER, N.Y. – The Roberts Wesleyan College men's lacrosse team will open postseason play on the road this Wednesday.
The Redhawks (10-4) earned the fourth seed for the East Coast Conference Tournament and will play at top-seeded Mercy College (12-1) at 3 p.m. on Wednesday.
The winner will play the winner of the other semifinal between No. 3 Molloy College (7-9) and No. 2 Frostburg State (10-7) in the ECC Tournament championship game at Mercy on Saturday, May 7.
Roberts, Molloy and Frostburg all finished with 4-2 records in ECC play this season, so seeding was determined by a tie-breaking procedure.
Mercy defeated Roberts 27-15 on April 23.
Wednesday's game is a rematch of the 2021 ECC Tournament final which was won by Mercy, 7-5.
