ROCHESTER, N.Y. – Freshman guard
Ryan Garwood scored 11 points in each half to lead four players in double figures as the Roberts Wesleyan University men's basketball team defeated D'Youville 94-80 in an East Coast Conference game on Saturday at the Voller Athletic Center.
Garwood's 22-point effort doubled his previous career-high of 11 points set on Wednesday at Daemen and he also added a career-best eight rebounds for the Redhawks (6-9, 4-3 ECC).

Rian Carter scored 15 of his 18 points in the second half while junior
Abou Gbane contributed 15 points and classmate
Ja'Kair Sanchez chipped in with 14 points and a team-best five assists.
Garwood made two free throws with 8:14 remaining in the first half to give Roberts a 27-26 lead that it did not relinquish. The Redhawks led by as many as 15 points in the second half.
Roberts made 32 of its 60 field goal attempts and went 9-for-19 from three-point range.
The Redhawks return to action at 6 p.m. on Monday to face the University of the District of Columbia in an ECC game at Voller Athletic Center.
