Redhawks Play To 1-1 Draw At CSI

STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. – Senior Tamas Nagy scored his eighth goal of the season as the Roberts Wesleyan University men's soccer team played to a 1-1 draw in an East Coast Conference match at the College of Staten Island on Saturday afternoon.
Nagy took a slick feed from Nathan Ferguson to give the Redhawks (3-4-4, 2-1-2 ECC) a 1-0 lead in the 11th minute. Nagy is tied for second in the conference in both goals and points (19). Several Redhawks touched the ball before Ferguson was able to spring Nagy.
"It was a nice build up and Tamas did a nice job finishing after Fergs put the ball through to him," Reber said.
CSI tied the game on a free kick in the 61st minute. Roberts generated a few quality chances in the final 30 minutes but was unable to convert.
Junior Caleb DaSilva made three saves for Roberts.
"We had some good moments, but we did not play a full 90 minutes and some things got away from us," Reber said.
Roberts returns to action on Saturday with a 7:30 p.m. game at Queens College.
