ROCHESTER, N.Y. – The Roberts Wesleyan women's basketball team held a first half lead, but couldn't hold on as the Redhawks lost to Mercy, 76-68.
Junior
Danielle DiCintio scored 18 points to lead the team on 6-of-13 from 3-point range.
Riley Childress scored 13 and
Paris Anthony had 11 points to round out the double-digit scorers for the Redhawks.
Mercy took advantage of the whistle going their way, getting to the line 23 times to just 10 for Roberts. The Mavericks connected on 18-of -23 from the line.
Next up for the Redhawks will be Daemen University on Wednesday at 6 p.m. in the Voller Athletic Center.
