ROCHESTER, N.Y. – Daemen University made 15 of its 22 three-point field goal attempts, including 10 of 13 in the first half, to defeat host Roberts Wesleyan University 88-65 in an East Coast Conference game on Wednesday at the Voller Athletic Center.

Ja'Kair Sanchez led Roberts (8-12, 6-6 ECC) with 15 points, 5 rebounds and 3 assists.
Graduate student
Rian Carter contributed 12 points, junior
Abou Gbane added 10 and freshman
Ryan Garwood netted nine for the Redhawks.
The Redhawks held a 23-9 advantage in points off turnovers, while Daemen (16-7, 9-4 ECC) outrebounded Roberts 36-27.
Roberts returns to action for an ECC game at D'Youville at 4 p.m. on Saturday.
