Kadie Tierney has been named the East Coast Conference Rookie of the Week for women's lacrosse.
Tierney, a midfielder from Marcellus, N.Y., scored seven goals in two wins for the Redhawks (10-5, 4-1 ECC). She had four goals, four ground balls and three caused turnovers in a 14-1 win over Daemen and three goals, including one that tied the game with 32.5 seconds remaining in regulation, in a 13-12 triple-overtime win over Molloy.
Tierney has 18 goals and seven assists this season.
Roberts, which has already clinched a spot in the ECC Championship Tournament, closes out its regular season at noon on Saturday against D'Youville.
