DEATS, JACKOWSKI NAMED FIRST-TEAM ALL CONFERENCE

ROCHESTER, N.Y. – Two members of the Roberts Wesleyan University men's lacrosse team have been honored by the East Coast Conference for their outstanding play this spring.

Junior Jordon Deats and graduate student Reid Jackowski were both named first-team all-conference in voting conducted by ECC coaches.

Deats, a midfielder from Bath, N.Y., is a repeat first-team selection. He scored 30 goals, including three game-winners, and contributed 13 assists in 14 games this spring. He has 73 goals and 41 assists in three seasons for the Redhawks. He was named ECC Offensive Player of the Week after scoring the winning goal in the closing seconds against Molloy.

Jackowski, an attack from Syracuse, N.Y., led the conference in assists for the second straight season with a school-record 39. A second-team selection in 2022, he scored 38 goals, including four game-winners, and finished with 77 points. He finished his career with 90 goals and 97 assists and ranks second all-time at Roberts with 187 points. Jackowski was named ECC Offensive Player of the Week twice this season and holds the program record for assists in a game (9), season (39) and career (97).

The Redhawks finished tied for second in the conference and advanced to the ECC semifinals for the third straight season.
