ROCHESTER, N.Y. – The Roberts Wesleyan women's field hockey team registered two shots on goal on Tuesday evening in a 9-0 loss to Brockport.
The Redhawks produced an offensive attack early in the fourth quarter resulting in shots from
Katie Krawczyk and
Brooke Tangelder forcing the Brockport goalkeeper to make back-to-back saves. Roberts earned a penalty corner on the attack.
The Roberts defense, led by
Avery Richardson's 15 saves and
Kamryn DeMarzio's two defensive saves held the Golden Eagles to just three first half goals.
Brockport was led by Quinn Guy, who scored three times.
Roberts (1-6) will travel to St. John Fisher on Saturday for an 11 a.m. game.
