Roberts Wesleyan Redhawks

Alena Weibel was named the East Coast Conference Offensive Player of the Week as announced by the conference office on Tuesday evening. 

Weibel, a transfer forward in her first season with the Redhawks scored two goals in two games to help Roberts pick a pair of wins last week to start the season. Roberts defeated Lake Erie in the season opener, 2-1 where Weibel netted the game-winner. The Redhawks then came up with a 2-1 win over Clarion. 

Roberts women's soccer will host its first home game of the season on Sat. Sept. 9 at 1 p.m. vs Chestnut Hill.
