Box Score ROCKVILLE CENTRE, N.Y. – Junior forward Grace Dow scored a career-high 20 points, but Molloy used a late 9-0 run to hold off the Roberts Wesleyan University women's basketball team in an East Coast Conference game on Sunday afternoon.
Roberts (5-9, 1-5 ECC) pulled within 76-73 on a free throw by Paris Anthony with 2:29 to play, but the Lions made 7 of their 8 free throw attempts the rest of the way to earn an 85-73 victory.
Dow scored 18 of her points in the second and third quarters for the Redhawks. Marianna Freeman added 15 points and six steals and Danielle DiCintio contributed 14 points and eight assists for Roberts. Emily Palmer and Georgia Haverlock each collected seven rebounds for the Redhawks.
Roberts is off this week before returning to action for an ECC game against the College of Staten Island at 6 p.m. on Jan. 31 in the Voller Athletic Center.
