ROCHESTER, NY – Freshman Jada Mushat from the Roberts Wesleyan University Women's Basketball team picked up a post-season award as she was named the United States Basketball Writers Association (USBWA) Rochester Area Women's Basketball Rookie of the Year.
In addition, she was a First Team selection to the All-Rochester Area squad.
Mushat led the Redhawks in her first season with 13.4 points per contest and also ranked fifth on the team with 2.7 rebounds per game. She was third on the team with 36 assists and led the Redhawks with 64 steals.
In the East Coast Conference (ECC), Mushat was ranked 10th in scoring and was 2nd in steals.
