AMHERST, N.Y. – The Roberts Wesleyan University men's basketball team led wire-to-wire en route to its first victory of the season on Saturday afternoon.

Malik Brooks scored 26 points and junior guard
Arnardo Camacho stuffed the stat sheet with 9 points, 16 rebounds, 8 assists and 7 steals as the Redhawks (1-1) defeated Chestnut Hill 88-75 in the East Region Challenge hosted by Daemen University.
Roberts closed the first half on a 17-11 run to lead 45-33 at intermission and led by as many as 17 points in the second half.
Senior
Jermaine Taggart II added 16 points and
Ryan Garwood contributed 10 for the Redhawks, who held a 44-30 advantage in points in the paint.
The Redhawks travel to Clarion for a non-conference game at 5 p.m. on Wednesday.
