WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Roberts Wesleyan University men's basketball team could not overcome a slow start and dropped a 77-65 decision to host University of District of Columbia in an East Coast Conference game on Saturday afternoon.
The Redhawks (7-9, 4-4 ECC) made just two of their 16 three-point field goal attempts in the first half while falling behind 42-32 at the break.
Malik Brooks and
Ryan Hudson both scored 14 points to lead Roberts.
Kevin Constant added 10 points and Brooks snared 10 rebounds.
The Redhawks return to action at 8 p.m. on Friday for an ECC game at Mercy.
