ROCHESTER, N.Y. – The Roberts Wesleyan University men's volleyball team fell to Saint Thomas Aquinas College in four sets in an East Coast Conference match Saturday at the Voller Athletic Center. Scores were 25-16, 25-19, 24-26 and 25-18.
The Redhawks (6-13, 1-3 ECC) trailed 24-21 in the third set before scoring five straight points to force a fourth set. Roberts led 4-2 early in the fourth set, but STAC scored nine of the next 10 points to gain control.
Paul Fillion led Roberts with 16 kills and added five digs.
Jonah Grbic and
Noah Liousfi each contributed eight kills with Liousfi also adding five blocks.
Riley Green set for 29 assists while
Griffin Monrad contributed eight digs and
Moises Jimenez added seven.
The Redhawks return to action at noon on Saturday, March 30 against American International College in the Voller Athletic Center.
