WASHINGTON, D.C. - The Roberts Wesleyan women's lacrosse team had 11 different players record a point in a 25-0 East Coast Conference win over the University of the District of Columbia on Saturday morning.
In a trip back near her hometown, freshman
Avery Barnhill, who is from Annapolis, Md. scored a hat trick for her first collegiate points. Barnhill scored two goals in the second quater and one in the third all coming off feeds from
Tannah O'Neill-Blake, who had three goals and three assists.
Lucy Rugaber led the team with seven points on two goals and five assists.
Sophia Podszebka filled the stat sheet with five goals, one assist, three ground balls and 17 draw controls.
Freshman
Grace Keenan saw her first minutes in goal this season and made her first career save as a Redhawk.
Roberts (6-5, 3-0 ECC) has now won three straight and will head to a game against D'Youville next Saturday.
