Dedee Named Co-Coach of Year; Jimenez Gets Libero Of Year; Four Other Redhawks Earn Honors

Roberts Wesleyan head men's volleyball coach Mike Dedee was named the East Coast Conference Co-Coach of the Year and Moises Jimenez was named the ECC Libero of the Year as announced by the conference on Friday afternoon. Five players earned all-conference honors which was the most in the ECC.

Dedee Co-Coach of Year ECC
 
In his first season, Dedee launched the new men's volleyball team to the No. 2 seed in the ECC Championships and a National Christian College Athletic Association Invitational Title. Roberts went 8-15 overall and 3-3 in the conference.

Jimenez Libero of Year ECC
 
Jimenez earned the Libero of the Year title after leading the conference in digs this season with 219 in total. The sophomore's 2.74 digs per set ranks him fifth in the country. Jimenez was named ECC Defensive Player of the Week four times this season. In the final game of the regular season, Jimenez came up with a career-high 24 digs.
 
The Redhawks had four others named to the All-Conference list, including, Paul Fillion, Jonah Grbic, Noah Liousfi, and Griffin Monrad. The four were the leaders on offense for Roberts all having over 100 kills on the season. 
 
Roberts will play No. 3 Dominican on Saturday in the semifinals of the ECC Championships.
