Volleyball Stopped at Home in Non-Conference Match

ROCHESTER, NY – The visiting American International College squad used a strong service attack and balanced offense to hand the Roberts Wesleyan University Women's Volleyball team a 3-0 defeat Sunday afternoon at the Voller Athletics Center.

AIC (8-3) won the match but set scores of 25-10, 25-9 and 25-16.

Roberts (1-14) fell behind early but looked its best set in the third set with eight kills in the set.

Junior Camryn Karelus led the Redhawks with nine kills while freshman Sierra George handed out a team-leading 14 assists and added five digs.

Fellow freshman Alexis Kessler recorded all three aces for Roberts and added a team-bets six digs. Junior Julia Dufková added five digs for the Redhawks.

Roberts takes to the road for its next two matches at East Coast Conference (ECC) opponents Molloy University (October 11) and Queens College (October 12) before returning home to face D'Youville Wednesday October 15.
