ROCHESTER, NY – Sophomore Antoine Pieterse continued to impress in the early part of the 2025-26 season as he broke three pool records and a pair of school records as the Roberts Wesleyan University Men's Swimming and Diving team competed at home against LeMoyne College.

LeMoyne posted the team score victory Saturday with a 205-89 edge.

Pieterse had pool records in the 200 freestyle with a time of 140.90 early in the meet and added a pool record in the 100 breaststroke with a narrow victory with his winning time of 57.87. The win was by just a half second for Pieterse and was also a school record.

The sophomore All-American wrapped up the meet with another pool and school record in the 400 Individual Medley with a winning time of 4:13.07.

Pieterse was not the only record-breaker on the day as freshman Leu Cabanayan established a new school record in the 50 breaststroke with his second-place time of 27.80.

Fellow freshman Raphael Weber had an impressive meet with three second-place finishes. He was second in the 50 backstroke with a time of 25.76 and was also second in the 100 backstroke with a time of 53.54 as he out-touched the first-place finisher by just five-hundredths of a second.

In his final race of the day, Weber added a third second-place finish with a time of 4:59.96 in the 500 freestyle race.

"Our athletes performed exceptionally well today, achieving numerous personal bests," said head coach Sara Smith. "It's very encouraging to see that kind of progress mid-season, especially with the limited rest they've had. I'm looking forward to the next few weeks as we hit the road."
