Three Redhawks Establish Career-Highs For Points Against Clarion

ROCHESTER, N.Y. – Senior Cristina Gonzalez-Simarro Rubio and freshmen Aniyah Jones and Sarah Seyfang all established career-highs for points for the Roberts Wesleyan University women's basketball team in an 84-67 non-conference loss to Clarion University on Wednesday night in the Voller Athletic Center.

Jones led the Redhawks with 19 points while Simarro made 6-of-7 field goals in a 12-point effort and Seyfang scored eight for Roberts (1-4).

Sophomore Erin Frazier registered her first double-double of the season with 10 points and 11 rebounds for the Redhawks.

Jones scored 12 points and Simarro added eight as Roberts built a 31-27 lead at the half. Simarro pulled down seven rebounds in the game.

The Redhawks will host Ursuline in a non-conference game at 2 p.m. Saturday.
