Men’s Volleyball Falls at Marymount

ARLINGTON, VA – Sophomore Paul Fillion led the Redhawks with 10 kills and sophomore Griffin Monrad and freshman Ryan DeJohn combined for another 17 kills but the Roberts Wesleyan University Men's Volleyball team dropped a 3-0 decision to Marymount University Wednesday afternoon in Virginia.

Marymount (6-8) won the match in three sets by scores of 25-19, 25-19 and 25-23.

Fillion led the offense with 10 kills and a .318 attack percentage while DeJohn added nine kills and Monrad chipped in another eight kills. DeJohn added a pair of aces and four digs.

Freshman Landon Brouwer handed out 23 assists and two aces while junior Moises Jimenez delivered a team-leading eight digs.

The Redhawks will travel to St, Thomas Aquinas Saturday before returning for a home match Monday against D'Youville. The D'Youville match is the first of four straight home matches.
