Men’s Volleyball Falls in ECC Title Match

SPARKILL, NY – Freshman Ryan DeJohn and junior Noah Liousfi combined for 16 kills for the Roberts Wesleyan University Men's Volleyball team Saturday but the Redhawks fell in three sets to St. Thomas Aquinas College (STAC) in the championship match of the East Coast Conference (ECC) Tournament.

STAC (16-9) won with set scores of 25-19, 25-17 and 25-12.

Liousfi had eight kills and a .400 attack percentage, DeJohn added eight kills and sophomore Griffin Monrad added seven kills for the Redhawks (11-18).

Freshman Landon Brouwer had 26 assists with six digs and junior Moises Jimenez also recorded six digs for Roberts.

The Redhawks begin play at the National Christian College Athlete Association (NCCAA) Tournament Friday at Judson University in Illinois.
