GREENWOOD, IN – Junior Amelia Ponto led the Roberts Wesleyan University Bowling team to the championship match of the East Coast Conference (ECC) Tournament and has been recognized for her academic success with selection to the Academic All-District team as selected by the College Sports Communicators (CSC) organization.

The requirements for Academic All-District honors are at least a sophomore academically and maintain at least a 3.5 grade point average as well as have considerable contribution to the team success for the most recent season. The organization honors several thousand student-athletes each year from each NCAA Division and the NAIA as honorees are nominated by the members of the organization previously known as CoSIDA.
