NEW ORLEANS, LA – The latest Regional Rankings were released Monday by the US Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) and the Roberts Wesleyan University Men's Cross Country team improved to the No. 1 ranked team in the East Region.

The Redhawks were ranked No. 2 in the preseason poll but after the first two meets of the season, inched up to the top spot in the Regional poll.

Roberts in ranked No. 1 followed by Southern Connecticut State, Bentley University, Assumption University and Wilmington (DE) University for round out the top five regionally ranked teams.

The Redhawks are idle this weekend and return to action September 27 for the annual Harry F. Anderson Invitational on the home course at Roberts.
